Data Processing Agreement

NIFA Jobs is dedicated to maintaining the highest standards of data protection and privacy for users of our surgical job board services. This Data Processing Agreement ("DPA") outlines the terms and conditions governing the processing of personal data on our platform. By accessing or using our site, you agree to comply with and be bound by this DPA. If you do not agree with these terms, please refrain from using our services.
Definitions
- Data Controller: NIFA Jobs, the entity responsible for determining the purposes and means of processing personal data on our job board platform.
- Data Processor: JobBoard.io, the entity that processes personal data on behalf of NIFA Jobs in accordance with this DPA.
- Personal Data: Any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person, including but not limited to, name, email address, phone number, resume, and employment history.
- Processing: Any operation or set of operations performed on personal data, whether by automated means or not, including collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation, alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure, dissemination, or otherwise making available.

Purpose of Processing
The Data Processor shall process personal data only for the purposes of providing surgical job board services as specified in the Terms and Conditions and Privacy Policy of NIFA Jobs.
Types of Personal Data
The Data Processor may process the following types of personal data on behalf of NIFA Jobs:
Instructions from Data Controller
The Data Processor shall process personal data only in accordance with the documented instructions of the Data Controller, unless required to do otherwise by applicable law.
Confidentiality
The Data Processor shall ensure that any person authorized to process personal data is bound by confidentiality obligations.
Security Measures
The Data Processor shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure the security of personal data, including protecting against unauthorized or unlawful processing and accidental loss, destruction, or damage.
Data Subject Rights
The Data Processor shall assist NIFA Jobs in responding to requests from data subjects to exercise their rights under applicable data protection laws, including rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability, and objection to processing.
Sub-Processor Authorization
NIFA Jobs authorizes JobBoard.io to engage sub-processors for carrying out specific processing activities. JobBoard.io shall inform NIFA Jobs of any intended changes concerning the addition or replacement of sub-processors.
Sub-Processor Obligations
JobBoard.io shall ensure that any sub-processor is bound by data protection obligations equivalent to those imposed on JobBoard.io under this DPA.
Notification
In the event of a personal data breach, JobBoard.io shall notify NIFA Jobs without undue delay after becoming aware of the breach.
Breach Information
The notification shall include, at a minimum, the nature of the breach, the categories and approximate number of data subjects and personal data records affected, the likely consequences of the breach, and measures taken or proposed to address the breach.
Assistance
JobBoard.io shall assist NIFA Jobs in conducting data protection impact assessments and prior consultations with supervisory authorities, where required by applicable data protection laws.
Return or Deletion
Upon termination of the surgical job board services, JobBoard.io shall, at the choice of NIFA Jobs, return all personal data to NIFA Jobs or delete the personal data, unless applicable law requires storage of the personal data.
Audit Requests
JobBoard.io shall make available to NIFA Jobs all information necessary to demonstrate compliance with the obligations laid down in this DPA and allow for and contribute to audits, including inspections, conducted by NIFA Jobs or another auditor mandated by NIFA Jobs.
Conclusion
This Data Processing Agreement is designed to ensure compliance with data protection laws and safeguard the privacy and rights of users of NIFA Jobs surgical job board services. By agreeing to this DPA, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by its terms and conditions.
